about us

Who We Are

Welcome to HimKa Add-Ventures — a new chapter in high-altitude adventure.

Though our name is new, our roots run deep in the mountains. We are founded by a team of veteran mountaineers, local guides, and adventure professionals who have spent decades exploring the loftiest peaks across the Karakoram, Himalaya, and Hindu Kush. As climbers, trekkers, and storytellers, we’ve summited, scouted, and immersed ourselves in the glaciers and ridgelines of these magnificent ranges. Now, we bring that lifetime of experience into a company built for the future — one defined by integrity, innovation, and an unwavering passion for exploration.

One of our founding inspirations is HimKa Adventures, a venture by mountaineer Abid Baig from Hunza Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan. Abid Baig has demonstrated bold leadership in mountaineering, achieving major climbs in the Karakoram, Himalaya, and Hindu Kush under demanding conditions — often without supplementary oxygen or porter support. His courage and commitment to authentic, self-sufficient exploration embody the spirit of HimKa Add-Ventures. We draw from such examples, combining fearless ambition with grounded local insight and professionalism that honors the mountains and those who call them home.

Why Choose Us

  • Deep Local Knowledge: Our leadership team includes mountaineers born and raised in the heart of the mountains — from Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral to other high-altitude regions. We understand terrain, weather windows, portering networks, and cultural landscapes better than anyone.

  • Global Standards: We combine international best practices — from rescue readiness and training to gear and communication systems — with a grounded commitment to uplift and empower local mountain communities.

  • Transparent & Adaptive: Though our name is new, our culture is built on honesty, adaptability, and continuous learning. Each expedition is a collaboration — an evolving experience where we refine, improve, and grow together.

  • Championing the Great Ranges: While peaks like K2, Nanga Parbat, and Broad Peak continue to inspire us, we also look beyond them — developing routes, treks, and climbs in lesser-known corners of the Himalaya and Hindu Kush. We aim to showcase the full majesty and diversity of these mountain systems to the world.
