Meet our founder
A Hunza-born team, not a foreign operator subcontracting Pakistani logistics.
One of our founding inspirations is HimKa Adventures, a venture by mountaineer Abid Baig from Hunza Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan. Abid Baig has demonstrated bold leadership in mountaineering, achieving major climbs in the Karakoram, Himalaya, and Hindu Kush under demanding conditions — always without supplementary oxygen, partner (less Geshaburum I) or porter support. His courage and commitment to authentic, self-sufficient exploration embody the spirit of HimKa Add-Ventures. We draw from such examples, combining fearless ambition with grounded local insight and professionalism that honors the mountains and those who call them home.
