Enquiry form

When you send an enquiry we collect:

• Your name, email address and (optionally) phone number, and your preferred contact method.
• Your qualifying answers: the type of trip you're interested in and the related expedition, trek or course, prior high-altitude experience, target season or dates, group size and budget band.
• Any message you write, and the page on the site the enquiry was sent from.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, we collect your email address and the page you signed up from.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, such as page views and referring sites. It is privacy-friendly and cookieless: it does not set cookies or build a profile of you across websites.

• To reply to your enquiry and plan your expedition, trek or course.
• To send the newsletter you subscribed to. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every newsletter email, or by emailing himkaadventure@gmail.com.
• To understand how the site is used, in aggregate, so we can improve it.

Enquiries and newsletter signups are stored in this website's own database, accessible only to authorised HimKa staff through a password-protected admin area.

When you submit an enquiry, email notifications and replies are sent using Google Gmail (SMTP), so the contents of your enquiry pass through and are stored in Google's email service. The website is hosted on Vercel, which also provides our cookieless analytics. These providers process data on our behalf and may store it on servers outside Pakistan; we use them only for the purposes described in this policy.

We do not sell your personal data.

• Consent — for the newsletter. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.
• Steps prior to entering a contract, and performing it — for handling your enquiry and planning and delivering your booking.
• Legitimate interests — for keeping the website secure and understanding, in aggregate, how it is used.
• Legal obligation — for keeping booking and payment records required by tax and accounting law.

Enquiries: 24 months from your last contact with us, unless they lead to a booking. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed. Booking records: for as long as required by Pakistani tax and accounting law.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent you have given. To make a request, contact himkaadventure@gmail.com. If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can put it right; you may also complain to the data-protection authority where you live.
