Rising majestically across the Baltoro Glacier in Pakistan’s Karakoram Range, Broad Peak stands as the 12th highest mountain in the world at 8,047 meters. Its name comes from its vast summit ridge, stretching nearly two kilometers — a defining feature that gives the mountain both its identity and its relative accessibility. Often considered one of the ‘easier’ 8,000ers, Broad Peak serves as a natural next step for mountaineers preparing for the likes of K2 or Everest.

Broad Peak is known for its wide ridgeline and relative accessibility among the 8,000-meter peaks. However, at such altitude, it remains a formidable challenge requiring experience, endurance, and strong mountaineering skills. HimKa Add-venture’s Broad Peak Expedition is designed for seasoned climbers who have already summited peaks above 6,000 or 7,000 meters and are ready to take on their first 8,000er.
Our expedition plan emphasizes safety, acclimatization, and flexibility. Over the 46-day journey, climbers will progress gradually through high-altitude camps with built-in rest and contingency days to ensure the best possible chance of summit success.
At HimKa Add-venture, we believe in full operational control over every detail of our expeditions. From rope-fixing and tent setup to food and logistics management, everything is handled internally by our experienced high-altitude team. This ensures consistency, safety, and a smoother experience for all climbers.
Safety is our highest priority. Each expedition is supported by professional mountain staff trained in high-altitude rescue techniques. Emergency plans and evacuation procedures are in place for all routes. Our focus is on responsible, well-organized climbs with the highest safety standards.
